My latest design and development of the Super Lamb Banana website is going down a storm with some of the gallery and showcase sites – and that makes me all smiley inside.
It has had a splendid review on unmatchedstyle and is also sitting nicely with a respectable 9 out of 10 rating-wise (last time I looked), it was also editor’s pick getting featured on the homepage of w3csites, and has also been featured on other respectable galleries such as cssmania, onepixelarmy and lightondark. Nice.
The re-design has also meant a 600% increase in traffic for them – so all in all I’m jolly chuffed at how things have turned out with it.
Just a quick summary of the project: my role was to basically come up with a new logo for the site (which I also animated for extra effect), come up with the site design, and also the hand coding of all the HTML and CSS mark-up etc. My friend and colleague over at behinddesign.co.uk did all the back-end stuff – big thanks to him for all his hard work.
We plumbed in our new bespoke beta CMS and e-Commerce solution (styled-up by my good self), which is getting good feedback from the site administrators and is improving all the time. I’m sure I’ll have some more news on it some time in the future, so watch this space, as they say …

Web-wise, I have a few other projects in the pipeline. The Cunard Building re-design is now live, so I need to update the thumbnail on my web portfolio page, and the Dave Lloyd Coaching re-design and re-development isn’t far away from completion also – I’m happy with how that is looking and functioning so I’m pretty darn excited to get that one live and doing its thing!
There are also a few other projects kicking off real soon, as well as the design and development shizzle I’m doing over at View Creative – keep checking my View Creative Portfolio for updates. That’s if you want to, of course. Yu’ don’t have to.
