Poppy – the world. The world – Poppy.
Poppy is mine and my beautiful girlfriend Naomi’s 6 week old chocolate brown Labrador puppy. She’s only about 30cm from nose to bum in length, has crystal clear blue eyes, and weighs a tidgey 1kg.
She does tiny snail-like poos and mini puddles of wee all over our home. We love her with every atom in our bodies because she is brilliant …
We think she is a dog … although sometimes we’re not quite sure. This is because, as you can see, she kinda looks a bit like a baby bear, and she gallops around the house like the smallest brown horse in the world. Also, when she’s curled up, dreaming of rice pudding and nibblin’ squidgey toys, she can resemble a little nesting mouse or hamster.
At the moment she eats rice pud and squished up ‘Puppy Complete’ with warm water, and at the weekends, as a special treat, she gets soggy weetabix with warm milk – the lucky little warm fluffy ball of fluffiness that she is! She smells of biscuits and fur.

So, f’now, Poppy sends you a little sniff, a tiny lick, and an uber-cute puppy noise that isn’t quite yet a ‘woof’.

Some more of her when she was widge, and a few now she is not so widge. She’s about 4 and a half months old now and is currently, as we speak, chewing the living daylights out of my sofa in my studio. She a cheeky lil’ chicken …
